I absolutely loved the elegant decor of the hotel, with its beautiful furnishings and grand atmosphere. It made me feel like I was staying in a luxurious palace. The hotel's general areas were spacious and well-maintained, providing plenty of comfortable seating areas for me to relax. Plus, the hotel was easily accessible for someone like me, a senior woman, with no long walks or stairs to climb.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be a bit more attentive and considerate. Sometimes they seemed a bit too busy or preoccupied to provide the level of service I would expect.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. When we notified the hotel staff that our room was too warm and the thermostat was unresponsive, they rectified the problem within 15 minutes.
There was nothing that I did not like at the Grand Park.

Stayed here for shopping, everything was excellent, I enjoyed great and fantastic location to the harbour area. The booked room was exceptionally large and huge with a view on the surrounding mountain ranges. Location: the hotel was just off a shopping mall and restaurants, and a big shopping complex. And it's not too far from Cocoro, ate there once or twice.

The rooms at Grand Park Otaru were totally comfy and convenient! The free WiFi and laptop-friendly workspaces were a big plus for us tech-savvy guests. And wow, the sea view from most rooms really set the perfect mood. Plus, having a flat-screen TV and fridge in every room was a nice touch.
The only thing I personally didn't love was the showers with tub combinations. But hey, that's just my preference.

The service from the staff and the convience to shopping and train station. Being in a mall made shopping easy and access to restaurants a breeze.
Being American, we would have preferred a softer bed.

Great staff with service mind and good English. Very convenient to go to town for sightseeing. The hotel is attached to Otaruchikko JR station and outlet mall where u can eat and shop. Room is spacious and clean. Love it and recommend it.
Bed is not so steady... It's spring based so it's not so firm when u turn.

The oceanic view from the room was absolutely mesmerizing. Being located next to Otaru-Chikko station made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The hotel had everything I needed, from a mall, ATMs, food courts, to even a KFC and McDonald's nearby. The room itself was spacious and luxurious, exceeding my expectations. The freezing highball and freezing beer at the bay lounge on the 2nd floor were a must-try. I highly recommend this hotel for its ideal location, stunning views, and excellent facilities.

It is located beside large shopping mall in the city, so you can have something to do at night in this quite city. After you walk along the old canel area, you can come back to the hotel and do some dinning and shopping here. Room is just fine but it is convenient location here.

This place is in a great location, right next to a major train station and in between two shopping malls. The convenience is unbeatable! The staff here speak perfect English and are wonderfully helpful. They provide excellent service, making sure all our needs were met. The room amenities were top-notch, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities. The in-room safe was a nice touch for added security. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi and luggage storage, which made our stay even more convenient.
I can't think of any negative aspects about this hotel. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for outstanding service, comfort, and convenience.

The hotel was cheap with spacious rooms, and good service. Internet is provided through a wireless lan. The people at the counter speak proficient English and were always willing to help me. The station, Otaru Chikko, is a stop on the airport rapid so you'll have no trouble getting there. There is also a public bus (with a small fee) that lets you to to the main town, Otaru located near Otaru station. It is located in a route outside and inside, the inside route being through the shopping mall, which is easy to navigate due to the signs.
Coming here for the Yuki Matsuri festival, the location is inconvenient. It takes 30-50 minutes to reach Sapporo depending on what train you take, so keep in mind the train times. Secondly, all the doors from the shopping mall route close at 8 pm which is a dastardly inconvenient time and open at 10pm. It is somewhat inconvenient. Thirdly, my room smelled of smoke even though I requested a nonsmoking room, but I guess it can't be helped!

The hotel's location was marvellous, really close to Otaru mainly for skiing as well as the harbour area. I ate at the fast food restaurant near the property.
